Twistys ones for daily driving are the Classic Locks. The ones in the pic with the black ring are a set of Classic IIs that Ryano had fake locks put on for him ;)

What bood said Jet-6.....they are just some 15x10 Classic IIs that I've had for ages.....got bored with them last year so Ryano at Fourbys organised some fakelocks to be welded on.

Got bored with them again recetly, so got some new rings cut for them! Pretty happy with them!

Hi Twisty your new rings make your wheels look bloody nice. How long did you have to leave your wheels with Ryano to weld on the fakelocks? How much did it cost?

You'd be best of speaking to Ryano.....I wasn't in a rush so he had my wheels for a while and they were at mates rates, so not sure what he usally charges.

But they dont require much....I can sort some rings out for you in any design you want, then just get some alloy tabs welded onto the wheel by a approved wheel repairer and your good to go. ;)

I sell the rings and post them Australia wide, they are propper beadlocks but if you only bought the outer rings and not the inners you'd have some great wheel protectors / fake beadlocks. How you use them is up to you.http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2/ftopic143568.php
Here's my beadlocks on some happy customer's trucks.

Found this on another forum, Fake locks/Rock rings tested, they do work :D

http://www.jk-forum.com/showthread.php?t=85757
[QUOTE=RDY4RKS;1123145]Here are some pictures of the wheels. The rock rings are a bit scratched up, but they did their job and kept the wheels scratch free.

silly question time (sorry if its been asked but skimmed through the thread to the pics :P)..

so if beadlocks are illegal due to having to modify the rim, wouldn't fake beadlocks, which require some sort of rim modification to fit, also be in the same boat?

thanks.

Not if the rim is built from new to take the rings, like the procomps in the above pic from Sim and my attached image, they already have the bolts and threaded holes ready to use

silly question no.2 does this mean if a beadlocked rim was mass produced it would be legal for road use?
