Does this mean that the entire event is all whel drive friendly and fourwheel drives will be on gravel roads so the same as the all wheel drives?

Lockee was sending our entry in today.

Don't know what's funnier - me getting in next to Lockee or Lockee sticking to 60kph max. I can see switchbacks at 60 clix coming up.

Righto Fellas' I'd like to set e few things straight.

I've only just registered after searching the event on google and finding this forum.

I'm a VICPOL member & a VP4WD club Member and a member of a 2nd 4WD club. If the traffic coppers wanted to put my landcruiser off the road, they probably could. In fact I reckon most traffic coppers could put any car of the road if they really wanted too. We are not traffic coppers we are 4wdrivers who happen to be coppers (some of us, others are family & some are simply mates of coppers)

At the end of the day we are trying to organise a fun event for everyone and are very conscious about this image of 'the coppers are running an event so they can stich everyone up" Well thats crap, we are running it to promote enjoyable 4wding and raise some coin for the RFDS.

I hope none of you need the RFDS but if i ever do I hope funds raised by this event help them (the RFDS) do their job.

So those those that think otherwise will not be there, those that want to support the event fantastic.

At the end of the day our goal is to run a safe, fun family event and I too would be p'd off if the coppers had Road worthy Station set up down the road as would the rest of the club.

THAT IS NOT WHAT THE EVENT IS ABOUT

After having a discussion with the President of the VICPOL club last night as he was ring all club Presidents to sort out the crap regarding RWC which would not be happening, I'm keen.

It's an entry level event, raising money for a worthy cause, you can do it in a jimny if you want! No GPS required, good prizes and food and even a singer for 2 hours Staurday night.

Top idea, top way to set an event up and top way to support RFDS. Get behind it and who knows where it can go.

If you turn up with cracked windscreens, busted tail lights and the subby blairing, you deserve the yellow sticker. simple.

Entry getting done this week.

Yeh Right Doodle Boy ....

It's You vs Me ... Navrun vs Navrun ... Spy vs Spy ....

It's just that I also got Lockee to rein in and keep sensible so you start with an edge... but at least I'm not in your puss box or Johnno's - that's something....

Hobzee

BTW Doodle - you should buy one of Ruffy's RWC's - it might just be a get out of jail card for you one day!

Hottie - PM me with your address. Will put you in the back seat - your job is to control Lockee. As Navi I will tell you where to tell Lockee to go. I've been telling Lockee where to go for years and he wont listen to me...

We shall be running on a new set of Trepador Radials to see how they go. Got a set in the shop and it's killing me seeing them just sit there without a home....
