Yes mate I have, however since its still very early monday morning they havent charged my card yet & order is still to be shipped off in the next 24 hrs or so..
I may send them a quick email & tell em to hold it until I can see how this group buy thing pans out (im in no big hurry for them at the moment), see if I can save some bucks on the shipping. I thought $278 sounded pretty steep, but thought its what most people must have been paying so I just went through with it.
I'd be more than happy to get a group buy organised/going, but i'm afraid I just don't have the time at the moment. If anyone else is willing to get it all sorted i'd be very interested though.
x2 on what just cruizin' said about the sooner rather than later thing...

Dee if you can add to that order I will transfer to money to you straight away and I'm sure Mr Green will too by the sounds of it.

yeah mate that should be fine.
At the moment I'd prefer to order for local (suncoast/bris) people, but Mr Green if you wanna organise getting the axles from here to tamworth, I'm sure we can sort something out. At the moment i'm awaiting a reply from TT for a price for shipping 3 pairs of axles&cv's.

sorry guys they sold out of the first 100 sets in 1 and a half days!
They have another lot arriving (250 sets) at the end of june, so i guess you've just gotta put your name down to ensure you get a set. At least theres some time now to maybe organise that group buy and maybe save some money on shipping.

well, i didn't ring anyone, i received a couple of emails through the morning.
trail tough.. i asked for a total shipped price on multiple items( at that stage it was only 2) and also asked about warranty. my only reply was "" at this price we are offering no warranty"' to me this is what made these axles. a lifetime warranty. which makes me want to go back to my original plan of waiting until i destroy my own until i fork out the coin.
however this is the reply from Sean at low range.""Our weight limit is 70 pounds going postal and that would make 3 sets per shipment. That comes to about $290 per box for shipping.
The next thing to look at is that the taxes on your end go up I hear at $1000.00 so would you want them in less than that or does it matter to you?
As far as the cost on the axles, I cannot match the price on the axles themselves. Although when pricing the axles for another customer last week who got what it would cost from them UPS compared to me shipping postal I could definitely make it cheaper.
You would just have to find out what it would cost from them for the 5 sets and them I would see what I could do after that info.
Also I here that they are on backorder now till June so the only ones we can get soon is the ones we regularly carry from Rockford.
Sean""
i have no idea about the rockfords that he is refering to if anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great. the tax thing might also become an issue. $1000 is only 2 sets, plus $290 for freight =$1300 =$750 per set. EDIT cj it sounds like you have the best price so far at $499 shipped, if that price is for real its a lot better than he quoted me.but he did say in his email that he would work out a price for 5 sets.
i'm after everybodies thoughts on this, but its panning out to be a case of when it sounds too good to be true it is.

It cracks me up how cheap some Suzuki owners are. You get told of an amazing deal, get given the prices shipped and yet still dick around trying to save another couple of bucks with the thought of a group buy. The first 100 sold out in just over a day with heaps more putting their name down for the next shipment that was due in 10 days time and now it sounds like there is a shipment in June and at these prices do you think they will last. The sale has come about because of a price/distributorship war between Trail Tough and EMPI and it can't last forever. Your group buy if/when you finally get it sorted will push you over rthe $1000 duty free threshold and you will have to deal with customs clearances, 5% duty and 10% GST assuming that they are still available at the low price. Hope you think it is worth it, meanwhile others are buying them up while they can. I gave you the prices shipped, alll you had to do is realise what a good deal it is and get some

I'm keen too.
I sent an email to Spidertrax asking about their price incl. shipping but no response as yet.
A definate $$ value would help me a lot whether it be a one off or a group buy but I will say I am wary of group buys after the last one.
I got a reply from Spidertrax but have yet to make contact with ABT 4x4.

Right I spoke to Chris from Locktup4x4, he wakes early for a WA man, he is keen to help out and will be getting some for his own stock from the next run, 150 set being made 35 set currently ordered, depending on whether ppl want air or sea freight will save about $100. Sea freight about 8 weeks delivery. He is going to get back to me with a firmer price.

They only ship via UPS. It's no-one's fault that we are on the other side of the world and shipping has turned out to be more than the product itself. If people can organise themselves to get products sent together to get a more economical shipping rate, good on them.
They're not haggling at the discounted prices, they just want to be able to physically GET their gear without breaking the bank.
But hey, I'm a zuk owner & I ordered the axles even at the premium shipping rate. The way I saw it the shipping was still there whether the product is $250 or $500. I'm still saving $250 compared to if I bought them two weeks ago. I knew the deal wasnt going to be around for long so I ordered then & there. (thursday). A few hours later & they were out of stock.

Mr Green, Rockford is the place that makes the axles for Bobby Long and it sound like they make these. I called yesterday and they are sold out. But I have placed an order for several sets for the June shipment.
