Old Man Emu struts make a difference to the ride as well as offering more travel. Also extra weight on the front helps as they were designed
for a fully loaded vehicle i.e. winch bar, winch etc. If you have these items it will help a bit too and so does disconnecting the swaybar offroad. Also don't overinflate your tyres.

AFAIK Calimini springs are designed for a bar and winch and offset rims. Offset rims add leverage to the suspension basically softening the front end.
Running camini on a car with no bar, and/or no winch, and factory rim offset will make the car ride higher and harder.
CJ's 1.6 LWB rode very comfortably with calmini springs in it & OME struts. (Calmini rear shocks) but it was a moderately heavy car with an optima, bar and winch, and a LWB auto.
I can't comment about the GV, only pointing out that they do design for a heavy car.

It was a little tight but so are most lifted suspension setups, it was not any stiffer than the 2" Tough dog coils I had in there before the Calmini went in.
It drove well. Was great off road and I stopped breaking CV's with the inculsion of the diff drop brackets.
Sadly that car is long gone now, but I now drive a LWB Vit with Calmini and whould have it no other way. A friend and I also comp a SWB Vit with Calmini it still is IFS and now runs 35"s, Calmini anvil in the front it still has Calmini shocks and everything. Calmini make good gear.
One other thing I have noticed from this thread from the dead, is that people are talking abpout a Calmini body lift, they dont do on for a GV.
