The Firehawks don't have siping in the tread but there's something I do in the wet (i.e. visibility down to 10m or so) that prevents loss of traction. It's called slowing down and driving to the conditions. Not a hard concept to grasp.
:roll: Tell that to the people who cut me off and cause unavoidable emergencies in the wet. You can't compensate for every fool on the road.

Alien, those tyres wouldn't have happened to be the good old Bridgestone D687's would they? I'm currently suffering the same problems and want to get rid of them ASAP.


ZX1990 - what size are the Coopers and roughly how much?

actually they were Cooper HT's - 215/75r15 on the front, which handled well, the Goodyear somethings i replaced the rears with were just horrible and slid all over the show... the Cooper STT armorteks im running now blow them completely away.
