Speaking from previous experience with this little cb70 engine you are putting in.......don't crank too much boost or revs into this sucker. They love to revv but cannot take heaps of abuse. They are a highly strung little engine and finding parts can be an absolute arse unless you know where to look. Make sure you change the timing belt as they run an interference head.

Craig (who had one that ran 16psi with a WOlf3D computer, spat a bottom end & also snapped a timing belt which bent 8 out of 12 valves and dinted all 3 pistons)

Is the blown 1.6 a toyota 4agze as i've done a few already may be able to help with some info on parts to use hydraulic clutch conversions etc.

_____________________________________________________

Currrently running 89 soft top with 4agze, sprinter t50 5spd,rhopper series 3, 33-12.5 mud terrains, calmini 5inch lift kit [yeah i know nobody likes it the fangs but it has better approach than rears up front with chassis extension].
I might try & do build up thread on the next 2 zuks when some of the bits turn up from the US.
p.s hello to everyone as i'm new to the forum.

Why go pug/vw over the 2ct, esp when you know you can get approval for the toyota motor, and it was already a rwd motor?

the 2ct is getting old....the pug vw is still currant and is direct injection..

the sierra 5 speed will bolt up to it also and they are not as heavy as 2ct as they are alloy blocks...

no you still need an adaptor....

but a sierra box wont even come close to bolting up to a 2ct..

where do you get em.......hopefully here soon if i can wing it....

you can find em at the wrecking yards but they charge a fortune...

apparently the 2ct will bolt up to a corolla k series g/box with no adapter
