Roughly measured it then and got 2500mm (98.4").......was probably out a little but, from what I've read stock is 89", and I've got 4" forward with the front and 5" back with the rear, so 98" total.

Well its amazing what 20mm does! Kane from Komited Kustoms came over today to have a look. First we trimmed the rear panels to see if the tub was holding it up, and yep, the rear would do the same as the front and collaspe with the shackles hard up against the bumper.

So we tried moving the rear shackle mount back about 20mm so it was pretty much flush with the rear bumper, bolted it all back up and it sat perfect with a 45 degree shackle angle. There must be such a fine line for the spring to be either too long or too short.

Anyway, ripped it all out and moved the mounts another 15mm back to allow the springs to settle and then welded them on. Waiting for the paint to dry and I'll bolt all the rear up and move onto getting the front to work. I wont bother sending them back up to Dobinsons now.

Few pics of the new shackle mount position.

The mounts do look a little funny hanging out, specially with the shackles fitted, but I plan to do a bumper that will hide it all, so might just have to do that sooner then later. Bumper will be something like this.

Only just come inside & checked the thread Dave & you should have given me a call. Good to see Kane talked you into doing a bit of cutting & grinding. The front I would just do the same or maybe a combo of both shackle & pivot mounts.
Looking good mate.
