looking back over there products they dont seem to have a sleeve style bag, only conventional bellow style bag, only would have 10or so " of travel, not enough! another option may be a airlift sleeve bag, but i cant seem to dig up any info on travel.
4WD Stuff wrote:Quoting $450 is a bit unreasonable when it can't be repeated by the next person. You did well though and I like your setup.
Shane
Why cant it be repeated?
The bags still cost around that delivered from US and if someone can fab the brackets they have the set up for approx the same cost.
Those brackets cost about $150. Nobody in the US make brackets to suit the Patrol.
Not everyone will have a customer come in and give them the valves and lines etc.
There is no supplier in Australia who could match that price, unless you make me some brackets. It will only take half an hour . Did you have to pay for freight on top of the $450?
I'm not having a go at you. I was seriously considering the exact setup purchasing from in Australia for a trade price. It was about twice that amount.

Prices include freight. So 2" and 3" lift flexy coils $350, 4-5" lift flexy coils $390.
$1290 for the superflex arms.
I am trying to make the 4-5" lift flexy coils longer again for increased flex and making a heavier duty set for those who are loaded up.

looks like glasshouse has gotten a lot more rutted out with the rain, might test the ute out there this weekend. impressive flex though mate, might invest in those flexi coils pretty soon, arms a bit hexy for me.
Just a note on the airbags, for the back of a GQ you don't need any mounting hardware, just 2 holes in the top spring perch and if you want you can drill a hole in the botom spring mount forward of the current hole in the centre. The Firestone bag fits without any problems and no rubbing anywhere. I used 1T14-C7 bags. They are 6.8" closed and 22.7" open. I used the long Rancho's that have 13" of travel. Currently I have about 12.5" of useable travel. With this the back is just way too loose and I need to run the swaybars and hence a lot of the travel is a bit useless, or at least till I loosen up the front a lot more.
got a Superior hi flex arm the other day and I must say these things are great.
Its running 4''lift with drop boxs and all the usual gear.
This is with pedders 9521s foam cells shocks since then I've put in 9521LTs (10.5'' travel) I haven't had a chance to flex it again since tho.
Oh yeah I had to notch the gear box cross member so the front drive shaft wouldn't rub.

hey guys, it does flex realy well. its a 4-5 inch lift. with efs extremes in the back with flexy coils all round and super flex arms. front shock towers have been extended 2 inches and im running efs extremes from and 80 series cruser. superior worked this out for me. im sure they could help you out if you interested. the tyres are 33's. bighorns. shane from suspension stuff hooked me up with the coils.
Unless you have done some mods then you would be missing out on 2" of down travel running EFS Extremes in the rear with the 5" flexy coils. You can run those shocks with the 3" lift flexy coils.
Either you have done some mods or you have a body lift because it looks like it flexes really well in the rear. It obviously flexes really well up front.
What length shocks are you running up front and have you tried to flex it up at the front till the coils come loose, I am interested to know how much you can push the front flexy coils with the Superflex arms.
I am definitely selling the Jeep for a Patrol now.

offtopic, what brand and model are them rims?
Not 100% sure mate, Delta's or something like that. I've since put them on the wagon as they are a bit light duty for my liking
