Going by the box the setup you mentioned gives

base timing - 15 degrees
black stopper with blue springs - 18 degrees

So total of 33 degrees

Ill be towing with my car so i think ill leave the base timing at around 10 degrees so it wont ping under load.

The setup you mentioned reaches 30 degrees by 2500rpm.

My current setup reaches 30 degrees by 1800rpm.

I have no idea which is a better scenario for LPG.


If my Setup is reaching 30 degrees that early maybe the fact that acceleration is quite flat after 2600 or so RPM is related to either not enough gas or maybe the cam that was fitted. Has a towing cam apparenty.

it's also a matter of playing with it to find exactly what your engine likes.

LPG likes more base timing then petrol does.
it also seems to like a little less total
