My little girl is a rat, nothing pretty bout her, got dents an bruises from fallin over lots, cool.
I have a set of extractaz, about a foot of pipe, a turbo 400 muffler, then a 90° bend, and about a foot of pipe to exsit in front of the pasenger drive wheel.
Its a good set up, 2", when im workin her she talks beautifully to me, sounds good when constant pedle to metal and in low gears, no mistakes made then.
At cruising speed, bout 80 to 90k, its quiet enuf.

My 1.6 efi has wildcat extractors, Cat , then 2" pipe with a triple flow muffler in the middle. Sounds smooth once warm.
Straight extractors sound farkin wild though, pops and bangs in down changes, Farts down low. But half to high revs, whoa what a sound! Gurgley like a toyo 20valve. Bit ear buzzingly loud though.

i got quoted 950 fitted for a new exhaust. block to tip. it consists of. set of wildcats. high flow cat. sports muffler. in either 2 or 2 1/4 inch pipe. both the same price. does that sound like an alright price. to me it seems a little steep.

my price was through a carline shop i was recommended as a good 4x4 installer, maybe try one of them. I feel you should be able to do a bit better than the 950 you were quoted maybe more like $750

Sorry but I really do hate the tinny High pitched sound those stainless autobarn "sports mufflers" give at high revs. other than that, that thing sounds hot
