Hey good timing and how's this going. I have been looking at these for a little while also and got directed to this thread from another site. Didn't even notice when on here.
How are we going with getting them postred directly etc. Also I'm keen on one but I have been emailing them and I want one but with the green display. This is possible and I think it's $10USD dearer than the red (for some reason) at least based on my ebay discussions with him.
Is getting the different colour version going to be a problem.
I also note that a mob called Eng-Tek who do a heap of turbo diesel stuff with an online store have been selling these for a while and on their site they go close to $400AUD with the thermocouple.
For those interested you can also use this as a boost gauge. Not int he one unit mind but if you want matching gauges you can get a second one and get a MAP sensor from a petrol car and use it for boost. He sent me the instructions.

I think the one with the green display also has an output for a data logger, thats why it's a bit more

I dont want to be responsible for the money sde of things. i have had situations before when i buy the stuff and everyone will fix me up. still waiting... (not from outers)
I will arrange the deal with him with a list of names and then once we know he is up to speed and everything is good we each pay him and get our gear shipped direct.

Have you got me in that count. I'm still going for the green display. Can't remember if the green face only comes with the data logger version or youo just ask for green. Either way he told me if I bought it through ebay to just ask for green and add $10?USD to the cost or go directly to the web site. Either way I want green and long probe.

Thats great, we are up to at least 10 so we can go ahead with the group purchase.
Can I ask why some of you want the one with the green face? Just trying to decide myself and was wondering why quite a few prefer green over red are you just trying to match other instruments or will it have better visibility in sunlight or something I haven't thought of and may be better for me too.

I have an 80 Series with a 3" dump pipe and exhaust off the turbo, what probe would i need? Is any body ordering one for an 80 series, if so where are you thinking of mounting it???

Most displays/dash's etc are green - so i'd say its just to match, which is fair enough. When i worked at my parents electrical store, the majority of older people and people with sensitive eyes, always went for the green display on clock radios as is was a bit less harsh in the dark.
