Setup is Boss 3/4hp compressor and 15litre air tank, switch (135psi off and 110psi on), also have a 150psi pressure relief valve just incase switch is buggered (makes you wonder what the hell is going on when driving and that lets off!!!!!!).

Supply to compressor is from dual battery, 2B&S cable to rear fuse panel for lights, fridges, oven etc. off that I use a 70amp hella relay (the solenoid the kit came with was faulty and I got too many 12v belts from it so that go relocated quite quickly!!!)

Car on fast idle at 1200rpm to ensure good alternator supply to fill the tank from empty took 3min 7sec.

First tyre fill up from 18psi to 36psi (MT Claws 315/75/16) took 76seconds, subsequent tyres take longer unless you let the tank refill. No point rushing from tyre to tyre!!

Now on my system I do have some very minor leaks (the tank loses pressure over 24-48hrs) and the compressor is making abit of noise and could be in for some TLC but I am pretty happy with the setup.

I have one of the new ARB units under the bonnet that runs the air lockers, so thats my backup if required!

Cheers

Had my original compressor tested by the distributor. Absolute pain in the arse to deal with. Bit of a shame really as Hobzee went above and beyond trying to help me out regardless of the fact I didn't buy the unit off him. Thanks again Steve

In any case the distributor deemed there was nothing wrong with it so I stuck it back in the truck and have learned to live with it. He also agreed there was nothing wrong with the wiring and plumbing I set up. While it's not ideal that I am running only a 3ltr tank, it still doesnt live up to the advertised speeds without any tank at all. I lost interest in doing anything more about it so just use it when I have to and try to forget how much faster my endless air setup was.

No doubt these are a fast compressor though, plenty out there will attest to it. Obviously there is some issue with my compressor or system so don't let my experience sway you too much.

Too difficult to set up an endless compressor with the engine swap I did. Thats why I went with the Boss. One day I'll have the time and patience to nut out a way to fit endless air, then you can buy this boss off me Bruce. :D
