I assume you are building a winch mount. I would go for aluminium instead. And use the heaviest pop rivets you can find.

STFU noob .. you need a winch mount ... 3m gal will be fine. Pfft pop rivets ... liquid nails is where it's at
Are you going to make em removeable or is the trailer purely a bike trailer.
If its going to be removeable I would make them a little heavier to so they dont twist if only pinned in place.

Winchmount, na, only need alfoil for that, it saves weight you know. POP RIVETS?!?! Clag glue is the go pal....

yea probably removeable... will re-enforce the holes with some plate so they dont rip when it aint a bike trailer.
