well I dont think it is sexy, but it does have less panels to damage and probably wouldn't be too bad if you put some 33's on it a big winch and have a go at a whinch challenge.
but it looks like its all about the wank factor not exactly practical, as was said earlier if you want a ute get a factory one.
but it is probably a great weekend basher and camper if it was at a normal price and not a price that buys you a car and gets it modded.

my thoughts

The price is the bit that stands out to me. Yeah unique, but worth that much???

X2 on the wheels. It would look 100x better with some descent size rubber on it.

Steve stop worrying about things you cant do anything about.
Joe .. Stop stiring up Steve
:D
I reckon chuck a set of muddies on it, give it a small lift and it would be a fun little truck ..Would be a ball to drive in the sand and unlike most other utes that size, would most likley ride reasonably well unladen.
Would be an alright little camping rig as well.
But if that were the purpose wouldn't build a more rugged tray not a alloy tray back?

And add weight for no good reason .. Nup. with proper overcentre latches the alloy trays dotn rattle.
It's an IFS mini barge .. not a hardcore wheeler or 1 tonne hauler .. Just a medium sized 4x4 ute with a pretty peppy V6

i reckon it'd be great. carry a couple of trailbikes in it, use it at the beach camping, and still drive alright on the road

I think it looks okay (apart from the tyres of a swift that is) Not much room behind the seats for my engel but, personally i'd like to see a little more cab and a little less tray. All i would really need by way of tray would be room for bait esky, tackle box, tent/swags and water/food. Having the smaller tray would also help prevent overloading/loading too far foward of the rear axle. I wonder how it rides empty Vs full?

That is nice, now if my MTB, 80ltr esky, swag, spare wheels and other spares and recovery gear would fit in i would be happy.

and put some lift and muds on it.

MTB = mountain bike

I like it too. Wouldn't pay $17k or whatever they want for it, but I think it looks good and is certainly unique.

AHHHHHHHHHH he knows my plan i must hide.........

$17k is a bit steep.... for that i'd want some custom bar/sliders and a few tweaks in the engine side
