I actually might sign myself up to trial these puppys out once I have the measurements of my POS all sorted out!

so how much stroke is available in each?? everyone always quotes extended length which doesn't mean $hit to me, as some 700mm ext have the same stroke as a 900mm ext.

I know you love tech too shane, could you do a spreadsheet or list of the different shocks? like comp length, ext length , stroke. for a few different brands......

I always told my missus that extended length isn't as important as the stroke ;)

Yes the first thing I did was measure them all.

EYE to EYE measurements are:-
910mm extended 546mm compressed =364mm travel= 14.33" Travel
834 508
754 468
719 450
659 420
Bla bla bla

Small eyes can be used to reduce the extended and compressed lengths by 11mm in case you need a length that is just less then what is quoted.

For base pin pin measurements just take 34mm off above all the above extended and compressed measurements.

For base pin centre eye measurements just take 17mm of the above extended and compressed measurements.

910mm-546mm = 364mm = 14.33" Travel
834mm-508mm = 326mm = 12.83" Travel
754mm-468mm = 286mm = 11.26" Travel
719mm-450mm = 269mm = 10.59" Travel
659mm-420mm = 239mm = 9.41" travel
For those interested in comparing!

If I thought there was a market for bigger then 910mm shocks then we would get them made also. That may be a product for the future when 14.33" of travel becomes too small for the weeked warrier.

just as a side note, they guys running the Superior long arm rears and flexy coils can EASILY use up 18"+ travel shocks, before bind-up.

Thanks heaps for the info!!!!!!! appreciated.

also what are the longest TDog rears in stroke??? just for comparison.

Longest Tough Dogs
830mm to 540mm =290mm=11.4" of travel
820mm to 525mm = 295mm=11.6" of travel

18" of travel hey. That works out to a 1050mm long Boss adjustable shock. We have heim joints to go on these shocks for the long lengths, I will probably do these for the same price, for a while at least. The boss shocks do have a decent guide so it can handle a lot of side loading anyway.

1050mm would happen if there was enough interest but I can't get them made for just one person. Maybe 1m would be a bit more practical though. If 6 guys give me a deposit for 1m shocks they will be ready by Jan/Feb
