How do lockers help on a ramp ??FC3892 wrote:win is a win! also locker helps dont it
I dont know if FC is coming from this point of view but the ramp days we have, for safety if you spin a wheel going up the ramp you must stop, your measurement is taken from there. Or obviously if you lift a tire, so the rear being locked I just slowly ride up the ramp in 2WD Low and don't spin a tire when the loads change on the wheels. The rule makes the comp more interesting because you can have really good flex but without lockers end up only getting a small distance up the ramp, even in 4WD. In one way it might not be a true measurement of travel compared to say doing it with a forklift but it gives a better idea of a 4WD's capabilities in a real life situation.VR Rodeo wrote:How do lockers help on a ramp ??FC3892 wrote:win is a win! also locker helps dont it
I have a lil ramp we built at the shed, just for testing stuff out. being NT and having a welded front, makes it easyer to crawl to the top. i find it makes the drive force smother an u have more controll. My sh!t tin isn't a comp kinda 4bi lol.. also the ramp i built is on a huge angle, all fun and games thoMUD-PIGSIERRA wrote:I dont know if FC is coming from this point of view but the ramp days we have, for safety if you spin a wheel going up the ramp you must stop, your measurement is taken from there.
