Dave, your pic looks like 1/2 eliptic rears (standard leaf design but obviously not placement) with rear shackles. I may be wrong but doesn't a 1/4 eliptic end on top of the diff housing (hence only being a quarter of an elipse).

The set up looks awesome and obviously works well though!

i just went and remeasured mine, i worked with the springs to bring the height down and on 35's i am 510mm.

Lowered it 70mm or about 2 inch which i am happy with.

this is an old pic, but i planned to coil the rear and maintain the same height.
Image

i have alot more clearance in the front due to the fibreglass guards i have and the axle being so far foward.

when i first coiled the rear it was tall and i wasnt happy with it, i think it should work well now.

Come on guys theres heaps more of you out there! i wont to compare the hight of my truck compered to others.
The reason ive ask for this measurement is because theres a lot of people running mixed spring combs that would not know the lift & this gives a standard to compare all.

After a small amount of driving (2runs) the truck has now setteled down
and is about 600mm which im very happy about. :D Hopefully it will drop a little more with a few more runs.

575mm w/ 2" leaf springs and 33's.
She's an 83 hilux and i don't intend on lifting the chassis any higher. Maybe a body lift for 35s one day. Front axle is forward too so no rubs here. :)

Brad.
