I am seriously considering just doin the MD axles upgrade and leaving the locker option out of it and then gets sams ETC later on when it ready....
Atleast then shit wont break (it might but much more less likely). But i still need to source some stronger CVs as my current ones are apparently not able to go with the MD front axle upgrade ? ? ?

Just be patient and replace things with stuff that doesn't break. You don't need to do it all at once and this will keep you poor.

But 33's on a 10 spline Rangie driveline is a leathal combo. I run the 32' MT/Rs and have busted one set of axles already, plus I'm running an ARB air locker!! Have been lucky though recently with 3 off-road runs since and have had no instances of breakage

You can make a 10 sopline axle last, just have to be careful and not flog your Rangie uphills. On 31's it okaty as it will withstand a certain amount of punishment, but that extra inch or so of diamiter will reack havoc on your axles.

As far as LT230 units go, about $750-$1,000 is the ball park figure. A good one will set you back a bit more, but I paid $350 for mine, but needs new bearings and a good look over.

Anyway, make up your mind soon as procrastonation will see you make bad mistakes, like I do with getting a 10 spline aitr locker

Has anyone on here ran a True Trac on the front of there rover are they any good i have maxi axles and air locker in the rear and am now looking at doing the front

Not personally, so this info is used.

Some of the guys in the states run the TT's on their D2's with stocker axles for a few reasons. On the front with ETC it "virtually" locks, as the ETC triggers, it corrects the castor problems when running some good lift and so far the stocker CV's and axles have been strong enough.

The big trick with the D2 though, is that the ETC triggers the TT.
