I ran 35's with 10inch rims and a 4inch lift for a while and it hit on the rear guards slightly at full compression without lowering the bumpstops. So I wouldnt worry to much about 35's.

I have 4"lift and had 33"s on 16x10s that rubbed because of a fairly wide offset rim,
I now have 35"s on 16x8 with only very slight rubbing on full compression of the rear suspension.
8" rim works better for 35"s IMHO

definitely.. 10" means easier to boof the tyre off the rim anyway!
