Anyone running these yet ?
I'm keen to hear some first hand stories about how these arms perform, both on and off-road, as I'm considering them for my 80.

the original templates were design around the later utes as they have more clearance issues than 80's or 100's.
As of saturday morning i finally got all the drawing and dxf files done for the arms and adapter plates. I have done all the updates and they were getting sent to get cut AFAIK. So as long as the steel guys don't stuff around too much the first batch should be ready to be CNC'ed in the next week or two.
I spoke to mick on the weekend and they have been going flat out getting the new shed up setup, they worked all weekend on the new office block and getting ready to fit out the machine shop and fabrication bays.

so are these available yet? Seeing as i am "re birthing" the 80 at the mo, im thinkin of going to something that doesnt require me laying under the car with a grinder and a welder to put in!
Im only going to be running a 4-5" lift, will they be available for that hight?
my only real question is how do they act under hard braking? wouldnt it send all the force thru the drivers side arm?

hey mate, i am sure they are available in 3,4,5,6" lifts (well i did the drawings for them all) and from what feedback i have had so far the guys running them are really impressed. I know the guy in WA who was featured in 4wd action is now running a set on his 100series. And there are a few 80's and 79's with them as well.
pm me if you are interested and i will see if i can help?

They are eye, tell him to turn them around.

does it flex evenly both sides pics only show the 80 on the ramp on one side, left rear wheel. can post picks of the flex with the right rear wheel (drivers side) and whats the cost of the nissan ones. do they effect Braking ie does the left side drop more when you hit the brakes.

no, they flex the same both ways! I spose they only ever ramp them that way cus the driver can see where he is going. Braking and driveability is excellent, there are heaps of nissan guys that have been running them for ages, best to ask them for there opinions. Personally i find them really good, we spent a lot of time getting them to be predictable in any condition, which i am sure anyone who is running them will agree. Hey if some of the high speed winch guys can run them with no swaybars at insane speeds, then they will be even better in a LC with proper suspension geometry!

Its my 100 series and I have only just fitted these arms, so far very impressed, the only issue is my Fox shocks are not long enough now
As for being upside down, when they were being installed I asked the same question and the WA distibutor queried this with the manufacturer in the states ( I had ordered these custom made as they have a thicker shaft in them for this length shock) the reply back was it didnt matter which way they were installed, but I will ask again now just to make sure. As it was difficult to get the body at the top in the rear, the rear was mounted with the body at the bottom, so the 4wd shop did the same in the front, they have been on the 4wd for over 2 years now and no issues, they perform very well
I will be taking it out 4wding this weekend, so will let people know how it went
Question has been asked and these have been custom made to allow them to be mounted upside down

Yeah, I had it parked there at last years ramp day, I ran the ramps as one of them is mine, so probably there
It has a 6 inch suspension lift and 37 inch Trepador Comps, so about 9 inch lift total

No I dont get any wobbles
I had snake racing drop arms on before and got a little bit of wobble depending on the road surface, but since changing to the Superior Superflex arms I get none
Also changing from ths Simex's to the trepadors has made a huge difference, can actually take my hands off the steering and it just sits nice and straight

yes there is
I believe that with the snake arms you get an arms that is for a 4 to 6 inch lift, but with superior they make them for a specific lift size, when I ordered mine it was for a 5 inch lift as the front is down a bit from the 6 inch lift and it has worked out great, castor must be nearly spot on

Are you going to answer this or are we to presume by your avoidance they are not road legal and and have no approvals for use in anything but "Offroad Only" applications ?

what am i avoiding?
AFAIK there are no aftermarket suspension arms/links with FULL ADR approval and all the relevant ducumentation to back them up! Its sad but the powers that be make it unaffordable for any manufacturer to get full approval. In saying that, there are many 'approved' vehicles running superflex arms (but your in QLD and you are not allowed anything at all unless it was factory!!). NSW just stipulates that the swaybar must be in place as well, from what i have been told.

just about everything sold for 4wds has a sticker on it "for offroad use only" why would anyone expect these arms to be any differnt??

Any more updates from owners/drivers of Cruisers fitted with these..?
Im after more info on how they handle on road without a sway bar, esp in a 105. (Im nervous bout losing that front swaybar cos mine leans enuf on hard cornering!!)
SPOTTIE -hows your setup going? Has the handling degraded at all over time? Any hassles, vibrations, etc??
