What's on the diff to id what you have?
H260 looks like \_/ this on the bottom and is big. The H233B is round on the bottom. I think Cheezy told me there is a little more clearance on a H260 as well. I thought it was the other way round just looking at them.
Initially I thought the 260, 233 fitting had to do with gearbox on the 3.0l. Early manuals had 260, and auto 233. But that was just from casual obs early. Then they were popping up in 4.5P as well so who friggen knows. Apparently it was either a parts shortage on a line or it was to thin out 260 stock as coil cabs were becoming the Ute of choice.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the 260 in the GQ utes were narrower than the GU as well for those thinking of conversions. I really dont know why you would do that except for locker change over and if you had to go from Very strong to Mega Strong.
