Flares are 2.25" wider than standard. I would do an outers price with a group buy. I am a past Pres of the Vic Suzi Club, my discount is a form of loyalty to the members there not an incentive.

Am doing some final work with the vit flares this week. Will confirm pricing asap, but they would be in the same ballpark.

For those who like the look of the jeep tj flares, we will be releasing this flare next week. They are 7" wide, more than enough to cover sierras from 34's up, if they like that look. Made of the same tough poly formula which is virtually unbreakable.

Greg those flares are SWEET!

So what makes these different to the flares sold by Piranha offroad, which as I understood is what you vic guys were using. Sorry if this has been covered. I tried to read the thread through.

Cheers

but as you posted four times that is now suddenly $1140 and that is expensive,

But bully for you in getting those for that price but ten we have no idea who you are, where they come from what sort of material they are or how they fit a Sierra. But on the other hand we do with Bill's products

Bump. So how do Bill's product compare with the ones from Piranha Offroad. Only asking as I remembered you guys using these. Not to say Bill's products aren't the ducks nuts, just trying to guage the difference.

ps. grimbo every time I see your avatar I think I am looking at a mirror!

My understanding is that the supplier to Piranha sold their moulds to Boss who distributes through Black Diamond, as they didn't want to deal with retail.

Therefore the Piranha and Black Diamond flares are effectively the same product. There might be some small differences in urethane used, so maybe they are firmer/flexier or have a slightly different surface finish, but it's not significant.

I'm not sure if you can still purchase those flares from Piranha, but they were a fair bit more money than buying from Black Diamond.

Steve.

Steve,
The flares are definitely different to the Piranha, the urethane is different.
They are identical to the Calmini soft flares, Boss use to sell exclusively to them, but the relationship broke down.http://www.doubleblackoffroad.com
