No idea as OZ has always had low comp, up to 2004 at least.

I would think if anything the high comp would be more conservative than the low comp, which is very conservative only reaching max advance at 4K revs.

The vacuum advance is also very conservative , and major gains can be made by adding a piggyback such as Unichip which takes over the vacuum advance function with an electronic map.

I bought a new complete distributor and also a spare ignition module. A non-broken membrane altered the idle so I had to reset base idle. When engine is warm I now have a perfect idle and the CO level is measuring at only 0,3%. Throttle response is great from idle.
It now goes really well at CAT spec closed loop. I also did the MOT today without any problem. Finally it's time for some miles on the roads (and offroad) :D :D
