You're going to get all kinds of advice, some good some bad..

What you need to do is tell us what type of terrain, level of 4wding you want to do, what your budget is, what you need the vehicle to do (ie tow, economy, space etc...).

The other option is to join a 4wd club, or head out as a passenger in a mates 4x4 just to see what you like.
