Ive got my Q-JET on backwards. It has never missed a beat. Steep climbs are no problem at all. Redneck fuel injection
What is involved in mounting the Q-Jet backwards, I have one on the Chev I'm fitting, Might as well turn it roud before I fit the motor.
I have an Edelbrock Torker II with Holley square-bore pattern. I had to use an adapter to get the QJET on, but because the Holley pattern is symmetrical the adapter fits either way. It made it rather easy.
If your inlet manifold has a QJET pattern you could use an aluminium riser block and grind its ports to get better flow when you flip the QJET. The secondaries won't work as well, but 99% of the time you will be running on your primaries only.
Pretty sure mine has an Edelbrock Performer manifold, I spose I'll just have to do a bit of investigating. Thanks for the info 2car
