Ive got my Q-JET on backwards. It has never missed a beat. Steep climbs are no problem at all. Redneck fuel injection :D

What is involved in mounting the Q-Jet backwards, I have one on the Chev I'm fitting, Might as well turn it roud before I fit the motor.

I have an Edelbrock Torker II with Holley square-bore pattern. I had to use an adapter to get the QJET on, but because the Holley pattern is symmetrical the adapter fits either way. It made it rather easy.

If your inlet manifold has a QJET pattern you could use an aluminium riser block and grind its ports to get better flow when you flip the QJET. The secondaries won't work as well, but 99% of the time you will be running on your primaries only.

Pretty sure mine has an Edelbrock Performer manifold, I spose I'll just have to do a bit of investigating. Thanks for the info 2car :D

Thanks for the tips guy's

I did the mod to extend the breather Up and inside of the fuel bowl and that was all it needed for now. Runs heaps better on hills, so much so i smashed the LHS hub on this stepup but the motor ran great :)

I will still do the other mod of Glens with the extra fuel pump. But will wait a couple of weeks cos of need to buy some hubs :(
