Strongly agree, nothing is indestructable no matter what some people will try tell you.kane077 wrote:Just thought i would piont out that there is no such thing as an indestructable shocker. They fit Fox shocks to some of the high end camper trailers and when i lived in the Kimberly i have seen them fail along with every other brand out there from bilsteins through to konis and OME's.
Is anyone running these yet? Any feedback or pics? There are no pics on ther superior web site.chicken wrote:Something i found in another thread ,
In mid to Late January Superior Engineering's Range Of remote Reservoir shocks to suit toyota and nissan's, 2,3,4,5,6 inch lifts will be released!
30 stage adjustable externally on rebound as well as 30 stage adjustable externally on the compression.
Fully rebuildable as well !
They come in either piggy-back or remote canister.
The are made to suit our specs and can be made to any size we require.
Price will not be much more expensive than the tough dog 45mm so that make them a hell of a lot better option than any other shock on the market.
Full details will be posted on our website in early to mid january and they will be available for sale by late january.
At this stage we are not giving away much more detail until there launch.
If you are looking at purchasing shocks within a month or so it may pay wait.
I would think most 4x4's including from factory, use the shock as the limit for down travel.thehanko wrote:If it popped out under extension in normal use then would that not suggest that the damage could have been caused by them topping out - and ripping them selves apart? because they were too short for your vehicles suspension set up?cooki_monsta wrote:lol mines in 2 pieces in a bucket, and yep looks like the whole shaft unscrewed itself, then under articulation it popped out
or have i missed something there?
Please note im not saying TD's dont have problems in any way shape or form. just wondering if there are contributing factors.
