It isn't as heavy as you think, Thomas and I easily lifted it off. I can lift it by myself to move it without any worries.
And now the Humvee is 300mm wider than a 100 series, was 200 before the bar went on.
To open the bonnet you take the locking pins out of the bar, tip it forward and then tilt the bonnet forward, very easy.

Why would anyone have a need to protect the top quarter of the bonnet or is it just to see how much weight is needed to sag the springs
