No. These are second hand NTN CVs that have been inspected before treating.
We can treat New ones but will only Treat NTN CVs and they will have to be supplied.

The cost of the CV is not a huge factor it is the treatment that you pay for.

Sorry i thought you were wanting to know whether we were having failures in the bell or shaft.
The first long totaly exploded the bell into about 50 pieces.Worst bell damage i had ever seen. The CV was also way too soft. The second one in less than 5 min had opened the furrels the balls roll back and forth in on the bell to twice the width of the ball and then the balls basicaly just fell out and totaled the Cage the Star and the bell. This one was also way to soft. The trick isnt making the CV harder its actually making it softer but these were too soft.

Mine are old style longs and I have given them a hard time more than once but not every time I have driven the lux.

Hey All
Definitely some interesting information available on this topic. Just to add to it. MarlinCrawler have CV's call Bellfields which are similar to the old ring welded Longfields but have been improved upon.
Also All Pro Offroad have their Profields for luxes and soon to have Profields for 80s CVs. According to development and testing they are the goods. Should have 80 units available in Oz 3mths. Something worth noting the lux Profields are at almost unheard of price in the US and now available in Oz.
MarlinCrawler are about to finalise testing of their Bellfields where they test them against all the available "strenghten CVs". Results and statistic are expected to be available on their website in 3weeks.
Dont forget you can always get a birfield eliminator.
Cheers
If anyone has question or wants any of these product and matching strenghtened axles call Matt at M&M 4x4 Custom Engineering on 02 458798.
