have you tried tightening the ubolts (think it was mentioned earlier)
i read on another site that this fixed one guys steering problems (off centre steering wheel) and also steering under brakes....

Will that fix it? What if it doesn't? You've spent a whole load of cash and it still dives. The are plenty of non-ps, non-xo luxes that don't pull under brakes.

Are the rear brakes locking up?? I thought if the front pulled to the right check the left rear brakes and vice versa.

Yeah it need to have the play fixed in the steering anyways. i was goign to leave p/s till last.
no the rear dont lock up...i dont even think the rear work.... i carnt adjust the rear as i need to replace the adjustersin the drums..they are frozen soild.... i think its basiclly 95% front braking.
No i have not checked the fuse's...ys that ?
i thought portion valuve may have air in it...my toyota manual says its possible.

oh and yeah the lux isnt bein drivin anymore....hehe so dont worry bout it on the road...ive borrowed a mates car:) its all guan get sorted hopefully in my holidays in july.

i found any slight braking difference between sides on the front was accentuated when my rears were frozen solid (76 fj40 though)...

yeah thanks all... i have a brake place on the look out for the rear brakes for me... and the steering is guna be booked in very soon.... will get dropped hangers at the same time to fit the steering in.
hopefully my problems will be sorted after that !!!!
so thanks again will let ya know after its all done..and fixed(hopefully)

Well its all fixed...goign X/o and gettin all the cracked welds fixed by replacing front X/member and gettin dropped at the same time fixed all....it now stays DEAD straight under any type of brakin.

simple and basic cheack your steering dampener cause mine done the same when the darndes thing happened out of no wher a heap of 1m high council whiches hats jumped out at me leaving me no chioce but to hit them he he he seriously check its not damaged
