And a front diff weaker than wet toilet paper.

If we are talking Bog Stock straight out of the showroom there is nothing better than the late TD 80 seriers Sahara.

How anyone can compare a new cruiser ute or wagon is beyond me. They may be ok but they were still designed in the late 80s. and this shows with the interior even with the new update they are not much better comfort wise.

Well there we have it ..... The TD 80 series Sahara may just be the best Toyota 4wd ever built as far as an offroader goes, with enough fruit to keep all types happy.

Now the Question beggers..... Can Toyota go one better and make a more cofortable, more refined, power happy, fuel effecient , offroad weapon.

Probably not considering IFS and IRS is the way it is going and their focus is not offroad but onroad and overall sales which is the mums shopping trolly.

I think you're just too fussy.

Why someone wants pure luxury on the inside of an offroad car? I suppose those same people want 'runners' alongside their wagon when they go off road, so they don't have to get out and get their shoes dirty.

I don't think you'll find too many unhappy new 70 series owners. Probably because they have a solid axle, factory locked truck that will perform as good as a 15 year old 80 series sahara with 300k + on the clock that its worth half of a new 70.

most people up here with the new utes have said they are not as comfortable as thier old 75 as there is less cabin space with the interior update

Ive driven both, and its a CRAPLOAD more comfy in the 79's.

The 09 update interiors are a very nice place to be for a working truck, and ive only had experience with poverty packs!

No..
the td 80 for me.....

What your asking for is a factory built ...off road ready, street cofortable 4x4 with balls......

No such animal... to get that YOU have to fix it to your own specs
