Zeke has an FJ40 front axle
Seriously, he swapped it in to make it easier to swap to discs.

uummm, yeah, nice upgrade.. you know her?
G60 rear is awesome, G60 front is gay. The toyota axle would be stronger and have way more clearance under the centre.

the cruiser rear would be stronger, have a go at the splines on the pinion, and the material the axle is made of, not to mention semi-floating, give me late model high quality gear anyday over straight out beef!
Alloy D60 vs rockwell? 60 60 60!!

you want to compare axles you have to compare stock with stock, alloy with alloy.
Rockwell kicks ass on both!

While I was in the states last yr, and at Moab, the dana 60 was very popular, but the toyota guys I wheeled with had no issues with toyota diffs in 80's and 37 swampers, and hilux with 40" swampers even. Will see how the 80 goes with 40" swampers while there this yr. 40's were swapping out cv's every nite, as well as fitting new windscreen surrounds from where the car was landing on them.
