To be eligible for the prize money, the competitor must complete atleast two tracks. (this will provide them with a result) Should a competitor not complete any tracks they will not be eligable. You can't just be registered.

Current competitor list with class category:
Matthew White - Low Range Offroad - Buggy/Truggy
LAWRIE STERNBECK - TAIPAN RACING - Extreme/Winch
Bruce Fraser - Offroad Boss - Extreme/Winch
David Burton-Bradley - Team DGR - Buggy/Truggy
Glenn Buttigieg - Snake Racing - Extreme/Winch
Matthew Dunk - Snake Racing - Buggy/Truggy
Peter Antunac - OPW - Buggy/Truggy

Rhett Bryant - Gympie Offroad - Buggy/Truggy

Entry fee is only $300 guys, so atleast 8 competitors will get their money back and more. We are also working hard on acquiring sponsors prizes for each track also, so if you don't finish in the top 4, but win one of the tracks, hopefully it will be sponsored and you will win the track prize.

Brenden took the office staff up to the ridgeline today where the King of the Rim tracks will be commencing. The view spectators will have of the comp tracks is great but I’m sure they will be enjoying the magnificent views to the city even more.
The competitors pit lane, exhibitor’s area and the smell of food the Greenbank Scouts will be cooking will make this a fantastic day out for the whole family.
If you are planning to camp for the weekend we recommend you book a site ASAP. Campsites 1,2,9 and 11 are fully booked already.
Entry fees into the park this weekend will be normal park entry costs plus an extra spectator fee of $10 per adult and $5 per child five to sixteen years. There will be a $10 charge for all parked cars include 2x2 car. As this competition is in a new area high in the back of the park walking to view the comp is possible.
Tickets and camping bookings can be made on our website.

The dual way access road is being cut this week enabling all cars easy access to the top ridge. The new buggy rock garden is almost done. The extreme and winch class cars don't run over this track.

Half the tracks are done and can be driven. There is no bunting up but the 4x4 post that are painted define the tracks. Bunting will be up for the event.

The Off Road Boss Arena is 70% complete well ahead of shedule.

Great news, ARB Coopers Plains are a track sponsor for the Offroad Boss King of the Rim.

If you win the fastest time on the ARB Coopers Plains track

You will win their high performance ARB On-board Air Compressors, along with a tyre inflation kit (total prize value $345)

Will keep updating the track prizes as they are coming in.

So the prize pool keeps increasing.

Heard the Add on the Radio down here a few time's last night on the way too and home from a Dinner.

Why the "Came see Team OPW and Team Snake Racing"??
Why single them out over the other competitor's?

Otherwise a Good Add!

I'll let the team from Scenic Rim answer...

but I would have thought thats the 2 teams that the general public (4B magazine reading) public would know about?

Same deal as why they advertise Chad Reed or any of the USA imports for SuperX adverts -

I'd think it was smart advertising for the common 4B fan... Just my 2c
