Thanks again for the extra picture.
Your panhard mount on the housing is maybe the best solution.
Do you have a picture of the panhard and steering rod? Is there a lot of space between them?

Did you drove your Rover already?
How is the castor and the bumb steering?
And how much flex do you get out of the Nissan housing compared to the Rover housing?

Corgie Carriers pics are pretty much the same set up as mine except his looks like he retained the standard drive arm...

Actually, hey Corgie, how did you get around using the standard steering arm???? As I cant see the end where it attaches to the GQ ball joint!!!

Both the panhard and drag link are a combination of the two vehicles units.

If you look carefully at where the steering damper bracket is, on the last pic, that is where the join is.

So it is the rangie end connecting to the steering arm and the nissan conected to the diff.

I did the panhard rod the same as this. The Nissan one is hollow and the rover one is solid and is a (very) tight fit in side the nissan tube. Just cut them a bit longer than needed, knock the one inside the other, fit to truck and make sure it is the right length and then weld it up. Easy!
