Hey DRS are you doing your fundraiser again this year mate? Because I'm willing to pay money for a little newt crew V Team TNT as I know both teams are pretty non competitive :finger: and would be a good little bit of rivalry with the queenslanders bringing a bus load of hecklers heading down

2011 will be my first attendence at tuff truck and im just wondering if the "family camp grounds" will be fine for my young family or do the d!ckheads still tend to roam around at night causing trouble? I was going to leave them at home but coming from bris we going to turn it in to a bit of a holiday while we are at it

Should be a great year, can't wait. Put my honeymoon off for it.
Also I heard there's now a 50 point penalty for piking out halfway through a stage to preserve the vehicle or to avoid mud. Ha ha so now the competitors will think twice before the skirt out of mudratz lol

So you've entered your GQ then?
With out the people skirting out there'd be no one too watch. We pay too put on a show for you, we pay too compete not be abused or slagged off. With out competitors there is no comp.

If you can do better and not pike or skirt off then enter.

Oh dude I completely understand it must cost thowsands of dollars to enter, and if I had the money to put into it I would gladly oblige but unfortunately I can only afford to buy a ticket to watch, that's near 100 bucks and I'm a man who likes to get the most of my 100 dollars. I'm all for the blokes who compete and have a go and put on a show but noones ever won by competing in half of tuff truck. Captain cook didn't get half way to Australia and say nup, it's just too risky. But I'm sorry if I offended u and for what it's worth I don't express
My dissapointment of not seeing someone attempt a stage by slagging them off and swearing at them or booing said driver. It's just not my style. But let's hope everyone has a dig this year ay. Afterall isn't that what it's all about?

Guys, the mud will always be a part of TT in some form. Its normally a part of any comp. If you only want rocks, BUY A BUGGY. :agrue: :agrue: :agrue: Sure it does do hidden damage but so does a rollover.

The Mud stage at TT has the largest crowd of any comp I have ever seen. I know it's a case of what came first, The crowd or the Comp Truck. Simply without either of them there would be no Tuff Truck.

Grant, lets hope that the truck can manage to start all stages this year. I thought your highest score was the Mud. Your comments above surprise me.

Good luck to all of the TT competitors and please send photos as required before the end of Feb if you haven't done so.

Tony

Getting close now!

My low pinion to high pinion quick swap over has turned into a big drama thanks too ARB. Turns out the locker was in a bad way.....

So whats happening with the 50 point unsportsman like conduct rule for all the other stages apart from the mud.Can understand why it was brought in for the mud but not for the rocks as it now seems like you either break your car when you simply cant get up something just so you dont incur a 50 point penalty.

Only asking because last year we called the stage on Heart Break Ridge after atempting it a few times it seemed like we were either going to roll the vehicle or damage another tail shaft so we called it to beable to then continue on with the rest of the weekend.

If the call is left to the judges on each stage as to wether you gave it a fair go that will open up a can of worms.

Duncan

It wont apply in the situation you gave. It,s only there for those that do not make an attempt of any sort when the truck is clearly still running.

turning up unprepared with a car hardly running is the best part of your first tuff truck.
