A little off topic but I've always wanted to import a 101FC and restore it. From the moment I saw them I just wanted one, I rekon it just looks tuff ;) . Oneday...

There are some in Oz already stuee - evaluation vehicles for the Oz army - last one I saw for sale was about 14k and in pretty good nick. You could probably pick one up cheaper.

Ya rekon. The ones I've seen seem to have been modified with heaps of non-genuine parts (ie roofracks and all sorts). But I suppose If i was going to do a complete resto it would be worth hunting around in aus anyway. Only problem is I've ever only seen 2 for sale, and i've kept an eye out for em too.

Depends on what I can find in around 6 years time when I'm ready
Lack of storage space (and money) sucks big time :bad-words:

stuee u cant complain too much about space, i got the specs of the defenders, cos im currently very keen to get one, if i get a stock one with standard suspension, my garage door opening is going to be 1and 1/2 inch too short to fit it in the garage, still aint gonna put me off getting such a sweet truck!!
