Bought the bolts for the new shakles. Got hitensile with nylock nuts cost $18 for eight.
So far things are looking good for the time frame that I have set!
FYI my 32X11.5 MTR's were on the ROH f100 15X8's and touched the springs so i'd say you'll get some rubbage.
I kinda new that would happen but i'm not ruling out getting the rims reversed and adjusting the steering. I will most probably change tire soon anyway it's just that I go these at a good price and they are a starting point.

Update:
Picked up rims.
Started the re-centering rims, 2 inch off centre
paid for S3 RH should be in the post tomoz...fingers crossed
Shackles complete...well kinda, I didn't get enough C section so I need to go get some more.
Want to be ready for a trip on the 14th which gives me 3 weeks

Paying for the stuff is half the problem, now its just a case of bending the rules (Sleep being an option not a necessity) to get it all done.

Yes well thats gonna be fun. The car will be with my dad for two weeks as he only works about two hours a day (semi retired). So with a bit of luck he will do most of the fab work.
Only prob is that he lives an hour away, so sleep is going to be very minable if I go their after work.

The biggest problem I face is getting those hoppers in, I was talking to dave (mandurah 4wd centre) and he said installing your old one was bitch! But I have got the help from a couple of mechanics and machine shop.

i did mine and i didn't find it to bad. the only prob i had was that the inside of the t-case was catching (must have been something to do with when it was orriginally produced) on the new 6:1 gears. it took me a little while to work out that was the problem. it was fixed soon after with an angle grinder

they r pretty easy to do, after idid mine the second time round.
make sure u install new bearings aswell as a new counter shaft.

Did you get your counter shaft and bearings form suziwest or somewhere else?

When I installed STUMPED's gears it was realy easy, just make sure that you press the bearing on correctly, steve got them pressed at a shop, and they put the bearings in the wrong place. Had to pull them off and fix it. Otherwise pretty easy job. Can remember where steve got his bearings from, but i think it was in Sydney.

Get the bearings from a bearing shop like BSC in ossie park or similar down your end and might want to price up the counter shaft at suzuki, and then at suzukishop / suziwest. Suzuki have not been to bad with prices.

didn't get a new countershaft when we did mine. got the bearings from a local bearing mob.... just took the old ones in and they matched them

Sweet thats what I had decided to do, I've got to go in their anyway coz they sell the body lift material.

it was something to do with the inside of the case, there was just not enough clearance for the large low range cog, when the case was put back together the gear would press against the side of the case thus preventing its rotation. it must have just been an anomolly when the case was produced. i worked out where the offending section of case was by spining it over by hand and producing a slight wear mark on the inside of the case. it was then just a matter of taking the angle grinder to it and taking a couple of mm's out of it. I was initially worried about what would happen when the case heated and the different expansion rates of the alloy case compared to the gears may have caused the gears to start eating the case again, but it doesn't appear to of happened. It may have weakened the case slightly but the 6:1's have been in for 6mths now and i haven't had any problems with it.

Sweet just picked the springs and shocks up.
The springs have three main leaves and to overload leaves (that will be taken out)
The shocks are nice and soft

I'm actually in a chrome dilemma at the moment.
I cant decide whether to do my rims in chrome or brushed alloy.

Bling is so over rated, think about it, it's just going to creat more weight and waste that money that should be spent on the roll cage and locker
