The tire only really bags out at the bottom so can't see it being an issue?
In my opinion the Ranger leaves the rest for dead as far as on road handling goes. It's as good as any offroad too especially with the rear locker on. The only problem is the shyte departure angle with the factory towbar but aftermarket options shouldn't be too far away.
Just got a bulletin from Toyota - Dual cab chassis LC79 will be available from August production, still no pricing at this stage. At the same time all GXL LC76, 79 and 78 body shapes will include factory diff locks as standard. I'd imagine there will be an associated price increase but hopefully it won't be too much.
