all 1UZ's came with an auto, none were manual.

they came out in Soarer, Crown, Celsior(LS400) and some early Aristo's(GS400). I belive all the transmisions were A34# series.

i spent months mucking around tring to adapt the engine to a 60# box and transfer or the A340 to the transfer case, in the end i just got a 100# box and transfer and fitted it up in about 15 minutes.

dropped it into the truck on the weekend and it fits lovely. :P

Do you mean, can you remove the output shaft from the A343F transmission and put it in A340 tranny so as to be able to put the transfer box onto the A340? If so, I believe so. This is exactly what I've done.

The A343F transmission's output shaft is 23 spline male.

I have a pile of digi photos of everything I've done if interested.
