An RD132 air locker works in both 80 front, and hilux front/rear but the earlier hilux diffs used different bearings with a smaller internal diametre. This is weaker i think and when you put in an RD132 you must use the later 50mm bearings.

so probably possible, but i dont know if the centres are the same, or if the hilux has smaller spider gears or something?


Also from that chart you can see that The front diff of all 71 76 78 79 and 80 all use the RD132 air locker.
So all these centres are interchangeable. The axles are all 33mm diamatre 30 spline. Its just the ring and pinion ratio that changes depending on models.
