so what u doin wit urs dude? mine's WT, with -28 offset 15x8 rims, 31x10.5 bfg muds... with the WT flares plus 3-4" from the edging (it's 6" wide), there's almost an inch overhang past the rubber.
i mighta missed something... are u going wider rims/rubber/etc?

I bought the -28 rims and decided they didn't have enough offset so I had them flipped. I now have 2inch back spacing on an 8 inch rim and will be running 33 x 12.5 mtr's

I reckon they will look good with the panels trimmed to match
If you have the extra width to use the whole flare that can only be a good thing too
But I voted Dewse is Grimace

At this point i've decided to just use the originals with rubber extention then change to something like the calmini one's later down the track.
I should put some pic's in the other thread so people will start to read it!

Well, I'm putting stock TJ flares on my build up...
pics will follow in a few weeks on a build up thread so everyone can pick the crap out of my and joes work (needs to be said
)
Here's what rears look like on an LJ on 35x13xr15 DTR's
The advantage of tj's are that they don't cost too much in thier stock form if u look in the 'right' places, they are robust & will take a good knock ('cept for the aussie front indicators- better with the mopar flush mount lenses- not gonna 'snot' 'em as quick on banks & shoulders...)
Best to mount them with nutcerts rather than screws- less suseptable to tearing 'em off and causing GBH to ur panels
Another kewl thing is they actuallly make ur 'visual' ride height taller!
All depends on your vision for the look of ur rig- each zook is an individual vision and at the end of the day, if the drivers is happy how the car looks and/or performs, on & off the road, who gives a shiate what anyone else thinks- in the nicest possible way

I'm on to it! The good news is that they just fit within the rubber extention.
When I say just fit i mean the only stick out about an inch

And when your zook grows up it will run proportional size tires for those diffs. Maybe 37's or some thing

id rather have a bullet proof drive train and not worry bout it
