I protected mine from heat by re-routing it so it's not near the exhaust... ;)

The white or black corrigated conduit is good for general protection, but won't do squat to protect it from the exhaust, reroute the tube away from it, I've always zip tied mine to the brake line.

Your right - mine also follows the brake lines as well, but it does provide some protection from heat, but also to protect it from rubbing against anything while under articulation.

I would be also concerned about the brake line if it's that close, some small rubber fuel/heater hose would be better than that black corrigated stuff as war as heat goaes and protection as well. I just used 6mm SMC tube and slipped some 8mm over it.
