I've been watching Jeeps in QLD both on the road and in car yards for sale with a mount bar that runs around the windscreen and the Lights are running along the top of it.

That is what I want to do, in QLD...

lights along the top are fine, as long as they have opaque covers on them whilst driving on-road. You can also get away with turning them up or down so you cannot see the reflector.

I tried mounting some lights above the windscreen once, but the amount of light that reflects off the bonnet and bullbar is disconcerting and is difficult to see past for those long night hours. Either move them back some, baffle them or keep them on the bullbar, thats what i will stick with.
