hey kac, do you post on the zookpower forums?
just been looking for info on dual cases in vits and came across this one
is this the setup in the yellow chev tracker? if so, how does it go at speed (ie. 60pmh).....any vibrations? any other info or detailed pics about the swap would be awesome, cause i'm still investigating ways of mounting the second tcase and this looks fairly simple

so does he drive it on the road much still? any vibrations from it?
how long has he had it in the tracker?
any things that he'd change if doing it again?
any chance of some more pics, i've only seen that one and one from the other side.
cheers

Here goes. Yes he drives it on the road quite a bit. There was a vi bration problem but we got that figured out. The coupler that goes between the Kick(Vit) t-case is a slip yoke from the Vit with the ears cut off then machined to take a Sj410 t-case yoke.then I welded the 2 together. Then I made a ring to fit in the Sj yoke. The ring centers the now modified Vit yoke with the Sj410 t-case yoke. There was the vibration problem.Solution...take the Vit slipyoke cut the ears off ,weld a flat plate to the slip roughly the same diameter as the second t-case yoke. Machine the plate the same diameter as the yoke the ring sticking out and drill you bolt holes.I'll get him to take some more pics for ya. Any more question ask away.
