If you really want to see punishment, come weekend wheelin with me and BeeBee. The video from Ormeau is nothing, trying to keep up with the haultech buggy's is absolute hell on a full size rig. Let alone one that carrys over 90kg of spares on board always. Ok we break them, but we have also broken 4 CORE's and 1 long (gen1), but then again we are getting 2-3 comps per cv's, so for us thats awesome!
But there seems to be a more expensive trend appearing, 4 comps - 4 diff centers. . Big cut boggers and a heap of power has got to be one of the most brutal setups, and the HTE cv's keep copping it!

I will be going to the US in a few months and am deciding whether to pick up some longfields or just longfield my current Rover CV's. The reports so far are good, and I think that the value for money is very good (especially since I can buy direct), the only thing I am concerned about is how soft they may be (longer term wear/durability). It will be a bugger if I wear them out in a year or so and have to get another set from the US.

The all up cost for a pair of new 27 spline chro moly longs, no axles, is a bit under $800 AUS incuding air freight and just over $100 AUS custom duty and GST. Seen the receipts to prove it
