I'm thinking odd, but thats only based on how they look on a sierra ;)

[quote="Beastmavster"]I would have thought a standard sierra tcase be almost good enough if you've kept the 5.12 diffs... it's still about 27:1 in high and 42:1 in low. quote]

Is a sierra Tcase a bolt up to a Vit Gbox or are new braces and adaptor plate required.

Sorry for the sidetrack :D

If you unbolt the vit tcase a sierra will fit upto the spline on the auto, cannot verify the manual though.

There's a couple of Vit Sites out there with this done - but it's not a simple job.

Most people would prefer to go with the vitara and Sierra dual tcase combo anyway.

If you wanna see what a vitara gearbox with Sierra tcase looks like try http://www.k9rdj.co.uk/

This site is closing soon though.

There should be links off www.rhinoriders.co.uk to similar vitaras.

Looks good. Do you reassemble for on road???
IMO, No matter how good you are with clutch operation, gearing needs addressing with a Vit with tyres of this size.
