OME are nice!

Dewse, can u tell me the model/part/code number of the OME's you had on yours (the soft ones) Im presuming there are different versions for the Sierra's since the ARB dealer i went to quoted different prices.....
Thanxxxxxx
PS Badooky, what a bugger about your Rancho's!!!
I have N76’s but forget using them because they are huge and need custom mounts built to use them. They were 130 each I think and are very soft. The reason they cost lots is coz they are a competition shock designed for dune buggies.
SSC you should get the ones that are designed for your car. Don’t bother about the more expensive ones you mentioned in your PM coz they are just fancy touring stuff. With an extra reservoir

Ok, cool. Yeah when the guy mentioned there were others I wasn't sure what the go was or whether they were suzuki specific. I know there is a set of sierra rears you can get for $145+ per shock, but the normal ones are around $85 all round..... I presume these are the ones you're recommending? Cheers Dewse
Yeah just go the cheaper one’s if OME’s are what you want. Have a look on www.arb.com.au for more info about the two types of shocks

bazooked wrote:the rs 5000s were with a 2" lift spring, runnin 235, 75 bfg muds, it rode like a bucket of bolts goin over railway tracks, and i would also question the length of these as they appeared to be wrong.
Was there any chance they gave you the wrong shocks?!
Well, if they were that crap on yours there's no point in me getting them because I'll be running the same tyre (BFG AT) same dimensions and with 2" spring lift.
I'm going to write to Rancho and see what they come back with as a response.......
Cheers Bazooked
PS so what shocks are you using now?
OldGold wrote:oh well
I ended up with 5ks
9ks were 145 each, trade price, double the 5ks
cost me 640 for brand new lifted springs and shocks, I'm not unhappy with that.
lets just hope I stay not unhappy when they're on the car
Best of luck!
I hope they're not as bad as what Badook had experienced...
Let us all know how it goes ok?! Lucky you only paid trade price
