If you havent already, do the mod i suggested b4....its easy and you will get more power from 5 minutes work.....
Its not a problem, skylines with intercoolers do it.

it would make no difference on mine...... with or without the waste gate hose blocked it produces the same amount of boost..... 11psi before the intercooler went in and 10psi after it went in....... this will rise when it's retuned, but i'm having trouble finding somebody to do it. i have seen figures quoted at 120Kw and 375Nm of torque which is not too shabby for that motor

standard is 72kw and 225nm.
I took care of the I/C temp going up to about 80 degrees on long low range climbs...... should work good in traffic too. The 9" fan moves a lot of air.

got it retuned yesterday....... not too sure how much more i go on the dyno...... but it made enough difference that it now spins the wheels on tar..... and climbed every hill between Tamworth and Scone in 5th gear (never achieved before) I plugged the wastegate today, gets about 16 psi in the morning... about 15psi when it's warmer.... goes so much better!! i'm so impressed i had to grab a box of tissues and go for a wander LOL
The guy that dyno tuned it, still hasn't done the pump timing yet, he has to research it with a guy he couldn't get hold of yesterday. He claims a bigger increase once the pump timing is sorted. I'm taking it back in 3 weeks to have another go at it.... i should by then have a regulator in it so i can adjust the boost so i don't overcook it on the highway on long hills. A pyrometer will go on after Easter (i convinced the handbrake it's better to spend $240 on a gauge than 2 grand on a motor

)
