Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Got it all built ok .

The instructions read on disassembly to remove plug then spring then ball which run on the long shift fork rod .Then it gose on about splitiing the case and pulling it apart .Yet further on when assembling case it tells you to also insert middle ball .This is what was not alowing the fork rod to come out .All done now hopefully get it up the ramp tomorrow for trial location of shocks as i also braced the long arm on the transfercase and cut of the studs and drilled out the mounting rubbers to fit in 10mm hitensile bolts.As for the kit its excellent with pretty good instructions and clear photos

make sure you update us with how the ratio is compared to what you had previously =) im still thinking 5.14 tcase for my 31's and would love the feedback!

Ran it up and down my street today and it was cool even in 2wd didnt have to slip the clutch to get her going .Now i no that im at 100 to 1 and my old GQ was at 63 to 1 but the zuk still seems fast but cant be as they are both running the same tyres must just be the 3 months since i was wheelin last it went up my ramp ok but was slipping the clutch a bit as i didnt no the suspensions limitations and a bit hard to explain to neighbours how your car got to laying on its side in the middle of the road

Certainly did a couple of kids with dad in toe came out for a look some of the older people at the bottom of my stret rove past shacking thier heads but who cares i was having fun .Still thinking of maybe selling my trans case with gears in to someone who will trade me thier case plus the price of the gears so its already installed for them and then id get the 6.1s
