I agree.... just take a look around the Outerlimits forums and you'll see a great range of zook's. I dont necessarily think that the best examples need be highly modded. I feel that sometimes, practicality is the name of the game. Alot of wheelers require a rig that is a daily driver aswell as a weekend warrior, and therefore needs to have a subtle yet practical mixture of both worlds. Dont get me wrong, i would love to have a zook thats the ultimate offroad weapon and could ramp the twin towers

(no pun intended), however i also want a zook thats practical and a joy, or atleast semi-enjoyable on-road.
I also found this pic a while ago and for some reason i have a soft spot for this zook. (shitty pic...sorry)

This is my zook.
Slight changes since these pics were taken.
Now has hilux diffs and a tube frame tray.
